Thay are always trying to put me on more drugs. Problem is, mo drugs means I feel mo dead.

I'm happy being semi dead. An adjustment more means no more me. Who else can relate?

I'd rather be semi medicated instead of a full blown zombie.

Right???

This is just for me.....my rant. If you need a full dose of meds to be right....you go for it! Do what it takes so you feel at least half way right! (I sure would)!

I was a full blown zombie once, for realz, I couldn't even construct intelligible sentences!!!

Hated hated hated it. Will never go back to being that way. At that time it occurred to me that some pdocs really really don't get it. All they know is what is written in some text book. They have no idea what its like, they don't know how it feels, nor do they even care that you don't feel. All they care about is getting rid of symptoms, even if that means getting rid of you in the process.

Ps. Note to readers I said "some pdocs", I myself had a great one, then a stupid asshat one, then a cool but cowardly one, and now I have none.

I've just recently ramped up to zombie status on my lithium. I hate it so much. I feel like I'm living in a disgusting jello mold. I catch myself staring off when trying to talk to people and not finding anything that resembles words..

Is it weird that the only thing that helps is not sleeping? Though that increases the racing thoughts...

Being on the wrong meds or too high a dose - yikes - been awful for me. Nothing worse than being a zombie. I think I'm on the right meds and dose now. I feel more alive. Not over the top alive, just peaceful.

I feel for you.

I was on lithium for a year.

It was the worst year of my life. It stole a part of me that I will never regain.

I had to find a substitute which is working a lot better for me.

This is why YOU have to be your own best advocate, learn you unique Bipolar and triggers and then get off your ***** learning how to cope and manage your life.

Or .. you can just allow some person with a medical degree put you on medications they themselves would never take.

Seems like a simple decision to me.

Exactly! As long as they "crush" the symptoms, they win! Forget the human ego suffering!
