because i got this idea from another thread, and i'm curious...

what for you is positive/ spiritual music

for me it's anything new age... anything with the sounds of nature/ the world

makes me remember that we're all part of the same world no matter how bad and dis connected we feel

Yep, New Age stuff is some of my favorite. I have had a long time admiration of Enya.

While most Christians wouldn't include me in their ranks, my favorite kind of spiritual music is African American full mass choir music. Mississippi Mass Choir & Marvin Sapp are two of my favorites. Even if one isn't Christian, the songs just "rock" & have positive messages.

Many different genres of music are positive to me. I'm positive Winter Jam is gonna rock this year. It's always fun and it's Christian music so it's uplifting. Skillet!

I don't believe in god but this time of year I listen to a lot of Christmas classical and choral music, like the Halleluya chorus. It's huge, inspired, amazing music about something other than sex and you only get to hear it once a year so I soak it up. I love choir music and you don't hear that much during the rest of the year.

Enya, George Winston, Yanni, ...oh yes, Christmas music this time of year.

PS: I will have to try the choral music.

For me it's Bach, Palestrina, Gregorian Chant, Hildegard von Bingen.

There's a beautiful Sikh woman named Snatam Kaur who makes amazing music. Krishna Das also does some amazing, uplifting stuff.

I love classic Van Morrison songs too, most of those are very spiritual and uplifting.

Enya, most classical except Bach.
I am too sure why but I always get such a dark vibe from Bach's works
And opera! The voices rising to the heavens. Amazing
