thank you for reading. I suffered for years with what they called teen angst, pmdd, anxiety, adhd, low self esteem....the list goes on. What went on in my head, decisons I have made..depression and mania...all makes sense now that i have been properly diagnosed. I didnt want to accept it..but now I have at 41 years old...flipped out and left my job, got somewhat clearheaded and joined this support group. I am glad I found mlyself here and can totally relate to alot of what I read. Please be patient with me as I get my online group ettiqutte refined.

Welcome to the group, flowerskull! Like you I have bipolar and as with you my diagnosis came as a huge relief. I finally had something to explain the roller-coaster ride my life has been. I hope you can find a med combo that works for you, and I hope you gain as much as I have from being a member here at PC.

I agree with everything the posters have said. I was the same way and have been my whole life. Mouthy, opinionated, aggressive, fiery and temperamental. Until I was diagnosed, a few years ago, I had no idea that aggression or angst was in anyway associated with bipolar.

I was diagnosed a few years ago with Bipolar 1. I am 49 now. It took a long time and I am so glad to finally understand. I hope you will feel the same way.
