When I was a child, the pink elephants on parade sequence from Dumbo scared me. Now, my 4 year old son loves the movie and watches it often. I've noticed that any time the music for pink elephants begins, I feel anxious. Anyone else have, I guess you would say, anxiety or fear by association? Because it scared me as a child, it makes me uneasy now.

I never liked that part either. It seemed like those pink elephants were evil! I loved the rest of Dumbo, but hated the pink elephants. It's funny, I haven't thought about that for years but your post took me right back to when I was young!

Although I do enjoy some classic Disney Dumbo is not on my list-I also don't like the pink elephant part (find it very nerve jarring) & OMG Dumbo's Mom locked up-it made me cry (not good cry either) as a child & probably would now if I could stand to even watch it-interesting to see how others respond to this one.
