I stayed up till 2:00 last night watching movie re-runs (why?), and since I didn't take my AP, my head alarm went off at 5:30. I'm wide awake with part of a song (see below) on repeat blaring in my head. Yawn!

What did you do?

i went to bed late and woke up early for me. i wanted to sleep in but i was wide awake. i bought a new pillow top mattress i put on thursday night. it is so fantastic. i just didnt want to get out of bed. i sat there considering buying a tv for my bedroom so i could lie in bed and watch tv. i pictured myself bringing my coffee in there, moving my computer in there. i mean all i do is sit in my chair all day on my laptop on pc/watch some tv. what did it really matter if i ever got out of bed?

i slept in until 1 this afternoon, i don't usually do that but i'm having a problem with my meds. they make me soo tired, i can't usually get out of bed if i sleep past 7 in the morning. my husband leaves for work at 6:30 and sometimes i wake up with him, but after he leaves i get depressed and want to go back to bed but i try not too. i do have sleep apnea, use the breathing machine, but that still doesn't help enough, but a bit.i am going to ask my doc to change my meds, i tried to before but she wouldn't do it, so i think i'm going to have to see another doc.

I do nothing, well unless I'm tired, then I try and force myself to sleep.

I live on an average of about 4 hours sleep, always have, its my normal. I just naturally need less sleep. And the later I stay up, the less sleep I need.

For example: The other night I woke up after an hour of sleep due to a nightmare... Stayed up till 6am when I finally passed out. Woke up at 8am, ready for action!

I don't sleep long unless exhausted beyond belief, depressed, or I decided to take a knock out pill. And by long I mean 8 hours...

I'm jealous trippin. I need MORE sleep than average. Like ten hours. Which is a rarity for me.

Last night my son woke up just as I was about to go to sleep. He whimpered for like 45 minutes but kept telling me nothing was wrong. I have him Tylenol just in case bc he hit his head at school and I thought it could be a headache. Then he just wanted to stay up and play. Finally fell back asleep around midnight, and I followed. Then I woke up at eight am when he woke up. Not a terrible night overall. Just glad I didn't have work.

My sleep has been very good lately, the first time in my life.

Getting 6-7 hours per night, and then keeping myself up all day with dexamphetamine. I used to get a lot of sleep anxiety but I think my current meds are leveling that out, It's still there but I can get to sleep much easier now.

Staying up all day is boring.

Finally. I worked out for an hour and then went on a 5 mile hike yesterday, took my AP last night and managed almost 8 hours of sleep! I feel rested for a change.

My sleep is so erratic every night i feel completely exhausted most of the time. Except whem im manic! I sleep an hour here and there. Not enough to sustain me though. Its frustrating and annoying which only serves to make me irritat d and cranky all day. I am on sleep meds but it only serves to make me pass out for an hour or two then i am up. I dont know its allso frustrating.

Often when I am hypomanic/manic I just don't feel the need for sleep and happily keep myself occupied until I go to bed and get 1-4 hours sleep. I love this in many ways as I can get so much more done. No so much when I am manic. There have been times when the PTSD was really bad and I suffered severe insomnia. This was horrible to say the least. I was desperate for sleep but could not get more than a few very broken hours a day.

As to what to do I guess that depends on whether it is being an issue or not. Take care

Wow, I wish I could sleep! For over two years, I've been up every couple of hours all night long. Doesn't matter how exhausted I am or which sleep aid is prescribed. Sucks!

I sleep whenever and for however long I can, lol. Usually I'm asleep by 1 am and up by 8 or so for work. Weekends are whatever as long as I don't have anything scheduled. I fell asleep reading around 1 am, woke up about 8:30 to go pee, went back to bed and woke up around 1:30 pm. I feel content and rested and all caught up. I've been doing chores and taking it easy.

I've been having a lot of sleep interruption the past 4 days. I have maybe gotten about 7 hours of sleep since wednesday.

My normal schedule is to fall asleep at around 1 or 1:30 sleeping, maybe a bit earlier and getting up at maybe 6:55 to get to work...this last week I have been getting to get bed earlier for some reason by about an hour and getting up at 6:30. Not sure how long that will last.
