Back a week ago I had a couple of unusually good days. Then the depression returned. I am now experiencing the elevated mood again. Perhaps things are turning around for me. What has your experience been when your mood ended up improving for some time? All at once? Or a day here and there until your mood has entirely lifted into normalcy?

wow, hard question.

(If your happy and you know it clap your hands)

My happy times I don't usually notice are starting until I am already in them. When I go from normal happy to mania I also don't notice until I see myself doing a 'trigger' action IE: taking on big project, day dreaming about some life changing impulse choice, obsessing about anything (exercise, health, project).

This is true for my lows usually. Occasionally they are remarkably clear - the other day I knew the very minute I changed.

I've had it happen several ways. Usually, it a gradual thing. I just notice that I start to take more interest in things and taking care of myself.
