Thanks again everyone for your input. In the 9 years I have been fighting bipolar I was always under the same care of the psychiatrist and psychologist. This is the first time I have ever switched doctors. I guess I got used to my old one treating me like I am still 16 and not taking my words or opinions seriously. I probably am reading into it too much, but I have never been asked by a doc what my thoughts were. It was always me being the kid, and them being the doc. I do feel a lot better now, hearing the experience and thoughts of everyone else.

Honestly if a new pdoc blindly followed the previous pdocs I would have no faith in that person. I don't like " Sheeple"

We have to be our best advocate, I'm glad you were able to explain how Bipolar is effecting your life ! Good for you
