I hate it! I got over the extreme sadness and such and Im finally leaving my room and back into the world. The anxiety never left. But the irritability is back today! Things make me so angry I could hit someone or verbally attack them in the least!

I thought everything was better but its not. I hate it. I ended up taking my PRN for anger/irritability and I hope it helps soon. I was sleeping up to 16 hrs a day but last couple nights my mind has been racing so bad I just lay there for what seems like forever until I fall asleep!

I don't think I will ever understand this.

I know what you mean. Just about every time when I think things are looking okay, everything changes. I've been having a lot of irritability and anxiety lately, too.

I hope your meds take effect soon.

I was only feeling good for a few days. I'm hoping tomorrow will be better. I'm back to just wanting to be alone in my room. Tomorrow I feel will be better. Yeah, tomorrow.

I too suffer from intense irritability at times so you have my deepest sympathies. Meds and distraction are what works for me. Either on its own is not enough. At the moment I am on a amssive dose of Olanzapine and Diazepam to stabilise me (10mg of each, 2-3 times a day) and hopefully i can start reducing that soon as my symptoms are stabilising. Are you seeing your pdoc soon. It would be great to talk to him/her about this and perhaps tweek your meds and find some more coping strategies.

There are meds out there that can help. I take Trazodone which helps me get to sleep, stay asleep and acts as a mood stabilizer. You and your doc can decide what's best for you.

You have a good attitude, like me, tomorrow is a brand new day!

Oh I hate the intense anger and restlessness I can get sometimes.

What I've learned to do is take a sedating AP, and write out all my anger. I used to send mean texts to one sister, and always felt so much guilt afterwards. So now I send the text to myself. But writing it out has helped me soooo much.
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry you haven't gotten any relief yet. Did your PRN help at all?
