Earlier I was thinking about going to the hospital. I'm going through a depression episode. I like to go there to get my medicine adjusted. I like it because it's like an escape from life. Especially when it gets horrible. I don't wanna go without a good reason though. I feel weird for liking the hospital. Does anyone else like the hospital or is it just me? I also get along with people in there.

Outpatient hospitalization is a good way to get some extra support during this.
Thanks for this!

I used to lOve the hospital when I was 18 because I didn't have to deal with my real life when I was there. I would go all the time. Now I have a family to think about so I try to stay out as long as possible. I still managed to go six times in a year and a half :-/ puts my total up to 19. So embarrassing when I think about it. I wish I could stay out.

But anyway I would agree that a partial hospital program might help you. It's where you go to a program for most of the day (mine was 9a-3p). while there you attend groups like you would in inpatient. You also have a therapist and a doctor who you see once a week instead of daily like the hospital. It's helpful. I usually go after I've been hospitalized as a step down.
