Has anyone ever dreamed they were in the middle of an episode? Was it foreshadowing? I barely slept last night but as I was in and out of sleep I dreamed that I was in the hospital for severe mania. I kept trying to escape and running naked and they kept injecting me. It wasn't a horrible dream though because I was euphoric the whole time. Here's hoping no nude trips to the hospital are in my near future!

Yeah I made a post a couple weeks back about having a dream where I got manic and ended up travelling to the middle of the state I used to live in, but I was lost and couldn't get back and had no money and couldn't figure out how to contact anybody because I wasn't thinking straight. Nothing resulted from it yet, but it made me anxious for a day or two. :/

Doesn't it stink? I am afraid my dream (although surely not to the extent) is reality and maybe that is the reason for the dream. Or, perhaps I have just been full of giddy nervous energy or even just had an off day today. I'm glad nothing came of your dream!

I had a dream a month or so ago that I was being chased by paramedics and cops because someone has called crisis on me. I would get caught but get away and keep running. Eventually I ran into the culinary room (I was at school) and grabbed a knife...anyway that shook me up for the whole day. It was toward the end of a slightly depressed episode. I thought the same thing, that maybe I was going to go so far down I'd end up in that situation...but after a couple of days I cheered up. So it might not be foreshadowing, just an outlet for emotions you may not be aware you're having.

I think the fact that you are actually sleeping deeply enough to dream is a good sign that mania isn't happening. Stick to your routines and I'm sure you will be fine.

I've had a few dreams about hospitals but none of them have materialized, thank goodness. Mostly I think they were about anxiety. I think I read somewhere that being nude in a dream is about feeling vulnerable.

I dream a lot lately. Sometimes they mean things or foreshadow them, but most of the time it is just the subconscious trying to work through emotions. I had very few instances where I thought my dream meant something and then either followed it or ignored it and neither situation ended well.
