I experience this too, but not just in spring. I get these urges suddenly just after a crying spell during depressive episodesI don't really talk or interact with people when I'm depressed. these urges are a lot more pronounced in the hypomanic /hmanic times, this is where I have urges all the time and tend to flirt and interact more.

I'm going through this now. It's my second "manic" spell in 7 months. Some days it's ok. Others it's a nightmare. When it's bad, I can't stop until I've had sex with someone, usually a stranger I find online. I think if I was in a relationship, I'd definitely feel the need to still sleep with random women. It's horrendous.

I am happy to see that I am not the only one with this issue! I honestly did not even think it could be a manic phase. I have been having extreme mood swings but regardless of feeling manic or depressed sex is on my mind. Although I only have one partner right now and he is super supportive I actually end up feeling guilty. I end up feeling ashamed and guilty.
