I know you guys are not psychologists, but this is a video of me. I was sober during this video. Am I having a manic episode? (Hopefully, I'm not breaking any guidelines).

It difficult to tell based on a video. How long did this last for?

Well, when I woke up, I felt "normal" again. A couple hours later, the energy came back and I felt just as good the next day. It was for a day and a half in total (minus sleep).

How else did you feel during this episode? How did you sleep? How often do you have these bursts of energy?

I slept normally. That is what's so confusing about it.

Overall, I was really confident, energetic, and happy. I'm a really shy person, but I felt like I had the confidence to make conversation. There were a couple of moments where I felt kinda agitated for no reason too.

It kinda happens randomly. I don't know how often. I had something similar to it yesterday. The last time was about a month ago. It's definitely not when I take my Adderall though (so pretty much only on the weekends).

Sounds like more of a random burst of energy to me than a manic episode.

That would make sense. Why is that happening?

Do you have ADD or ADHD? You did say this tends to happen when you don't take Adderal. Adderal is used for ADD/ADHD generally.

Yes, ADHD. For a while, I would get random bursts of energy after having it wear off. I didn't have to take Adderall at all that day, but I still had that burst of energy.

I would probably bet that the ADHD is coming through at moments.

It's weird because I never had these bursts until I started taking the medicine again
