Hi, so I'm a suspected bipolar not officially diagnosed. I've been reading all about it and it explains everything in my life. I can also relate to most the things I read in here. My thing is, what's normal if there is one? I think of my life now and in the past and notice that I'm either depressed, happy/super happy or irritable. Right now I'm in an irritable place. I thought that 2013 was a great year and I'd love to get back to that but apparently my therapist thinks I may have been in a high. So if that's the case I almost don't even know who's the real me. I hope that it's not how I am now. I've been so irritable and anything can set me off or put me in a short depression for like 3 days.

It takes time to find out your personal " Baseline" is. I honestly believe that you can nail it down in therapy. Medications can help stabilize you. but to find baseline yes, that's when I think CBT comes into play.
