Saw the NP today for a hospital discharge visit. She is going to increase my injection from 117mg to 156mg because I still have paranoid thoughts. I'm going to move across the street where more severe people go and see a psychriatrist instead of NP. The doctor in the hospital would rather me see a psychriatrist than a NP. I won't get the injection until the 24th, so I have to wait and stay safe until then. I don't want to go to the hospital again. They know me to well at the hospital...haha

Hi butterflypower, It sounds like a good plan. I'm curious...why do you take an injection instead of taking pills?

I have no idea really. I think because it's more effective than the pills.

I did take pills one time. The NP took me off of Zyprexa. I ended up in the hospital. The doctor at the hospital said that was a bad idea. He started me on the Invega pills. The next day he said I can take it as an injection, so I decided to do that. I still take Trileptal and Trazodone as pill. The injection is more convenient.
