I just reapplied for school for the summer. I decided to do Nursing again.
I think this time I need to go for a smaller class load. Instead of taking 5-6 classes. Maybe 2 or 3 classes. To avoid being too stressed where I drop out again. Any other tips or advice?

Definitely go for a smaller class load. I personally did a lot better the semesters I went for smaller class load than the ones where I overwhelmed myself. If possible, I also tried to schedule Fridays or Mondays off if I could to have a three day weekend to recover from the week, or I'd try to have more classes in the afternoon (I had trouble getting up early). Sometimes it wasn't possible, but when it was, it helped. Good luck!

I am back to University on Friday for the first time in 10 years! I have taken on a part time study load (only 1 full day at uni, online lectures and about 20 hours study time). Im hoping my brain remembers how to study as it has just been drugged and messed up for the last 10 years with BP, OCD, GAD and dozens of drugs/meds.
Goodluck. |
