I last posted about how unhappy i was with my psychiatrist. I don't care for her medical advice or her manner. I dreaded seeing her and felt awful afterward. She never said a word of support to me the entire two years i saw her -- not even basic human kindness.
I talked to my gp about it and we decided i can go back to just seeing him. He's got a lot of common sense and can tell when i'm manic -- unlike my psychiatrist. I'm doing well on my meds -- no severe depression this Winter -- so glad for that. Yay! Good-bye to Dr. Evil!!! |

Good for you! I recently (well sort of recently) parted with my therapist who was awful and my psychiatric nurse practitioner who had basically given up on me and stopped helping me.
Now I have a seemingly better psychiatrist, therapist and doctor all at the same building. We'll see how things progress. I'm still kind of new there.
