"What's wrong with you?" "Don't talk that way!" "Don't be hateful!"

I start out in a good mood but something ticks me off and I react. Then I hear that crap!

Anyone else tired of it? Maybe I am irritable...how's about they leave me alone.

I would just make myself scarce and go do something away from whom ever is bothering you. You cant change people , but you can change how you react.. thats the only way to deal with a situation like this .

Well, who's getting upset with you and what's causing them to say that?

People don't usually respond like that to someone for no reason.

Like Christina said, you can't change other people. But you can change your own behaviour and reactions. So if they're annoying you, what is it? (Obviously in this instance it's from what they're saying). Why are they doing what annoys you? How can you handle it differently, or perhaps change what you do that isn't going to cause them to get like that in the first place?

Is it people you live with, or people you just spend time with, or work with?

Over Christmas I said something, and immediately my dad got up and left the dinner table. I said, "OH, did i kill the mood?" And my mom goes "What is wrong with you?"

To which i replied, "What is wrong with me? What an interesting way to frame a question. I am not answering that."

In other words, go **** yourself
