Does it take anyone else this long to 100% get over a break up? I so thought I was...at least for the majority. However...then I was invited to a get together by a mutual friend and I wondered if my ex would be there. I can't go anyway because I'm busy, but I did something I haven't done in months...looked up her Facebook. Mind you, she's got me blocked. Came across a newer one she had, but doesn't look like she continued to use...so I guess I'm still blocked on her main maybe. Then I went to her best friends Facebook to see if I'd find anything about her. Well...long story short...now I know more about her best friends life than I wanted to because he makes everything public. And I still know nothing about hers because all the new page said was how she was trying to get her original profile back. 7 months later...apparently part of me still misses her. It killed me seeing pictures of her...so much more than I thought it would. What in the world possesses me to do these things? I just want to be 100% done, but every now and then I find myself desperately wanting to talk to her again. *sigh*

I still think about my x everyday and it's been 20 years for me. Love is a powerful thing.

It takes me a very long time. I have a hard time letting my "guard" down and getting close to someone because I am so volatile. Then when they hurt me or leave me, I am devastated.

I haven't dated in several years.
