Hello. I've started on new meds, but very close to getting up to the correct dosage. I've been doing very well lately. Until today. I feel very emotional. I could cry at the drop of a hat and I'm also very irritable. My husband left on a 5 day work trip this morning. He does this all the time and it doesn't bother me. So I'm thinking that's not what it is, but I don't know? Sorry for the men that are reading this, but I'm due for my period in 2-5 days. I've never had PMS like this before. There is a VERY small chance I'm pregnant but I've taken a test and it's negative. I also have a 2 year old to try and take care of. Please help. I don't know what to do! I have a lot of household chores I should get done. So I don't know if that will be a good distraction or not. I am just at a loss.

Could the meds be escalating symptoms of your impending cycle maybe? I hope that you are able to shake these feelings ((hugs)) Try doing those chores you were talking about. It may help you take your mind off your feelings.

I know how you are feeling. I am in a similar boat. I have a million things to do and have little to no motivation and I become super emotional over things that would never bother me otherwise.

If you can get yourself to do household chores I would certainly try to use them as distractions. If you are like me, being left alone with my thoughts tend to make me more depressed.

I know right before my period I'm an emotional wreck. Emotional. Crying over silly things. Irritable. Once yours starts I'm sure you'll feel better. Hugs!

Hang in there. It does sound like it could be hormonal, but if you aren't better soon be sure and contact your doctor.
