A bit. I was told to take it right before bed. I think it's also lessened my concentration /focus a bit but it's livable

It made me manic off of just 25mg, but everyone is different. It made me feel cloud nine good. Definity got me out of my depression and pretty much eliminated my anxiety, but in the end made me so unstable I had to go inpatient. Just my experience.

It made the world spin around, and I felt like I was in slow motion

Its a pretty well studied medication and seems to either work great or not at all . When you toss an AD to a Bipolar patient there is always the risk it could fling you into a Manic episode.

It worked great for my depression, gad and ocd for years but after 6 or so yrs on it I have switched. Definitely take it in the morning as it is activating. I was stable on it and an ap for about 4 yrs so it's worth a try!

I just started it as well. So far no catastrophic reactions. Fingers crossed it goes well for the both of us.

I have had 2 manic episodes induced by Zoloft. However, that was at doses 150-200 mg. If you only take 100, like I do now, it reduces that risk while possible offering enough support for depression. I would suggest lamictal or latuda for depression though, since neither of them induce mania. Zoloft is for those who can't get out of depression any other way or have OCD (like me).

![]() Different people find different meds work more effectively than others. I was given Prozac once when that was popular. Big mistake, actually almost fatal for me! Although I know it has been very helpful for others. NOT one of us is the perfect text book case. Unfortunately it takes many trials to find the right recipe for each of us. I learned patience is a virtue and extremely frustrating at times. Good luck, I hope all goes well. |

It worked wonders for me 6 years ago and completely took me out of the acute depression. Since last year it made me very manic and afterwards ended up in a severe depression. So I'm off Zoloft
