I came to the ER this morning with agonizing chest pain. It's some kind of lung infection called Pleurisy.

Well, I was discharged almost an hour ago and my fiancee is not responding to my texts or calls. He had to drop me off because the kids were with us.

I'm chilling in the waiting room drinking coffee, cuddled up with my blanket I brought with me. So glad I brought it, it comforts me.

I hate being in hospitals.... I'm getting really pissed at my fiancee. He probably fell asleep and nobody else is answering, all at work.

So here I am.....

A few days ago I had a dream I died. It was very strange. I never experienced a dream quite like that.

Has anyone ever controlled their dreams before?

I have 1 time ever...trigger.
I was tied up and a monster human was going to cut me. I looked over and there was an ipad on the wall, I clicked pause and he froze. I didn't want to get cut! I was aware I chose to stop it.
I got myself lose...and for some reason clicked play and took off running.

I hope he picks you up soon. I'm so glad that it wasn't very serious, of course, to me all chest pain is serious.

I don't really remember my dreams since I started taking Saphris, but i was never able to control them. Since I'm prone to nightmares it would be very useful to be able to control what's happening.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you.

Yeah, I was only ever able to control my dream one time ever!! It was awesomeness! But it was a nightmare.

Still no response.... Still waiting for even a reply

I'm sorry you had to go to the ER and that you are stuck there for now. But I'm glad it was nothing life threatening that you had. Hopefully your fiancee wakes up soon. I hate when my husband falls asleep when he is supposed to pick me up from work, although it doesn't happen too often. I end up catastrophizing and freaking out while I'm waiting lol.

Yeah I'm pretty much freaking out inside while looking calm as ever on the outside.

I'm becoming extremely upset, angry and hopeless. I feel like it could be hours. I have no clue.

I've texted many many times. Called and called with no response. It's been well over an hour

I'm sorry that your going threw this :/ my thoughts are with you. As for the dreams when I was younger I was really into dreams. I had started to practice lucid dreaming methods. I could never sleep then but If I did I always had nightmares. I tried to train myself ti recognize certain things as signs of dreaming. It never really worked but there was one time it did.

Triggers

I was about to jump off a building end it all. So In did. Mid jump I suddenly released I had control and i turned into superman and spent what felt like 1 hour soaring around a city fighting crime. It ended with me being shot in the back of the head....but either way i was 15 at the time and it made my week. It sucked cuz it started a obsession to get control of my dreams. Never worked well again. I would wake up instead of getting control like that. I then found out about cannabis and for some long miserable years I smoked insane amounts and lost my dreams all together. They are slowly coming back but medication doesn't help... I always have scattered memory's of nightmares now. Always restless sleep. I had a friend who claimed he could every night. I never could. :/ always made me so jealous!

Yeah, I find dreams fasinating as well. I love to dream. I have unpleasant dreams a lot of times about things in the past.
Weed also supresses my dreams.
I still enjoy the act of dreaming though.

I waited 2.5 hours before calling a cab. Not long after I called the cab, my brother in law pulls up. I guess my calls didnt go through and my fiancee fell asleep with his phone on him.
