Since I hit bottom, my constant training and working out has been nil (almost a year and half). I believe I have been getting better bet still I struggle to go to the gym or my MMA classes. I love doing both, but I always talk myself out of going. I have addressed this conflict to my psychologist several times and taken different approaches. She has me fill out a daily mood tracker that lists my medicine and how I felt that day along with sleep. She told me to add both MMA and working out as medicine as well. She even made a mock prescription of working out 5/7 times a week. So far it has been working.

That sounds like a great plan! Do you have a FitBit, by chance? it logs sleep, exercise, weight, etc., and is worn as a bracelet.

I don't have Fitbit. Is it worth it?

I have the same question about the fitbit I almost got one but wasn't sure how accurate the sleep tracker was.

Exercise is great for Bipolars, it helps us stay moving when up or down.

Working out regularly helps me feel better, but if I do too much cardio, it triggers mania. Moderation works best for me.
