Not me. Not today. Probably not ever. I am too old. I am too tired. This MI has defeated me. I just don't know how...

This feeling is only temporary. You will find stable ground again. You can lose hope in everything around you but never lose hope in yourself.

I'm sorry you are feeling so defeated. I've been there, but I'm stable again, miraculously, and so will you be eventually. No episode lasts for ever (otherwise it wouldn't be an episode). I know that's not comforting now because you feel stuck in the depression and hopelessness, but try to be kind to yourself. You don't deserve being beaten up, especially by your own self. You are a worthwhile human being.
