I'm the same Capriciousness. I've always worked while manic. I can go 2/3/4 days/nights without sleep and/or food and I can still function just fine. The urges and impulsive behaviour usually puts a swift end to it though. I drop everything when the urges come, I can't settle until I've scratched that itch. My Psychiatrist seems to think I've been mostly manic, to some degree or other, for most of my adult life.

Great! Clarity is something I find challenging sometimes. I get brought down by all sorts of stuff. I find comfort in music too. We are who we are and there's a lot of peace in knowing that.
