Has anyone been unsure if they took their medication and then took it. En realize you did take it before? Any different side effects?

I once took the night meds instead of morning meds in the morning which meant I got my latuda and lamicatal within 8 hours of my taking them, they told me to skip my night meds that night then go back to taking them as scheduled. I now use two different colored 7 day pill boxes. One for am and one for pm.

I do believe I have done that before. No noticable side effects from it. However, if I FORGET to take something I can really tell.

I have many times till I adopted the am pm pillbox like others mentioned. Never anything too bad happened. Know your medication though. If I accidentally double up on my propranolol it could be very dangerously. I always go on the side of caution with certain ones and if i can't remember Ill just skip that dose and wait for the next one.

As I am stuck at work and new to this regiment anyone skip a dose? I usually have it for dinner but again stuck at work till midnight and I don't plan on eating when I get home. Will one missed day be detrimental?

Most meds have a long enough half life that one day doesn't matter that much. It usually takes several days for full blood plasma clearance.

I have done this a couple times. Mostly with my Gabapentin and it simply knocks me out!!! I take my latuda at night before bed with food, so I never really double up on that.
