How you can be stable for two years, then suddenly have an episode.

How you can be happy hypo for two days, then suddenly shoot up into psychosis. The crazy **** you believe and do while psychotic, and how embarassing it is afterwards. How long it takes to recover.

I had a lot of weird psychic experiences in my mania, some which turned out to be true. I've read about how a lot of bipolar people are empaths, which I totally believe.

It never ceases to amaze me how much more complicated Bipolar is than the DSM and articles called "What is Bipolar Disorder?" make it out to be.

The quickness in which things can change. Moods change with a song, a hug, a comment, a flower, etc. Up and down in the blink of an eye.

How you always believe it! That you have preternatural power, that you can see the future, that you are magic, that your friends and co workers are conspiring against you, that you must act immediately over email to cut them all out and save face, that you are the most worthless kind of garbage imaginable and that everyone would be better without you. It all seems totally real every time!

I'm more creative and productive when I'm stable. Is that weird or something?

How different meds can work for me, personally, sometimes, and other times not.

I'm back to round 1 ... on a mood stabiliser (Epilim) that I was originally on y-e-a-r-s ago when I was first diagnosed - and it's working

Who knew!

Name one thing that never ceases to amaze me about bipolar? The manias and how close they make me feel to God.....I save those feelings for the down times because I refuse to believe that it was a complete lie. I just won't believe that feeling that close to the Creator was a biochemical lie. No way.

Oh.... medicated now, balanced 98% of the time, still believe. So there.
Thanks for this!

Mania is the worst. It's impossible to explain it to people who don't experience it. It's like you become another person. And when you have got to rock bottom it's seems impossible to recover. I am trying so hard to cope.....
