Positive things I've done today #3 :)

I put in my two hours of volunteering at the local animal shelter working with the puppies. These two hours a week are one of the things that keep my alive.

Went for a walk even though I was feeling lazy

Did not stress out at a situation at work that was totally beyond my control, but people think I can Fix

Had a lo-cal hot chocolate (from a mix) rather than a super creamy rich giant sized chocachino from the shop

I packed up and left my daughter's early enough to run a couple of errands.

Worked a full day, first time in a month

Today is one of those days where getting up and dressed is pretty darn positive

I managed to take my physically disabled ex-hubby (long story -- I'm his caretaker) fishing Monday evening. And, I survived pretty well.....although I was exhausted from the effort.

I got dressed up for work.
Skirt, pantyhose - the whole bit!!

I actually initiated a conversation (brief, but still...) with two different co-workers today!

Went grocery shopping and dyed my hair...

I got to work this morning and did my best today. Had a depressive breakdown for a few hours once I was home, but I got there.

I did a bunch of little things that I had been putting off for a while.
I really wanted a shelf for my bathroom, and the one I like is $80
I dropped into the local thrift shop and my eyes almost popped out
There was the same shelf for 5.99
Now that is positive!!

Cleaned and organized two coat closets

I went out to dinner tonight and it was super nice to get out and just be human.

Picked up prescription. Went to post office. Made photocopies. Went horseback riding. Took a shower. Did laundry.

Washed the floors, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed and did the washing. Sitting here listening to youtube in the background trying to cheer up.

I was med compliant even though I really wanted to skip them and spice up my life.

I've been isolating from my friends (thanks seroquel for making me nevere want to do anything!), and I invited one of my friends over on tuesday for coffee and a chat. We used to do that every tuesday.

had a meal with the in-laws and tidied+cleaned the house. Also did 3 clothes washes. Feeling good :3

filled out certification renewal forms, big relief ...

....well...despite the lack of sleep. I got right up out of bed, put my teeth in, put my eyes on, turned my ears on, marched right out into the living room and read half a book, answered the door and came on PC......oh, I finished last nights meal for lunch and am about to throw a frozen dinner into the microwave.......talk about a big day.

Took an unplanned vacation day: went to the library, dropped stuff off at the thrift shop and went in and had a look around, got groceries and did two loads of laundry

Go me!!

I made three more quilt blocks. But now all my energy is gone and all I feel like doing is laying on the couch.
