So whether I truly have BD or it's just a misdiagnosis, but the more I look into it, the more I read up.. I'm slowly getting convinced that I do have BD. And if someone remembers of to when I made my first post in here I said that on my diagnosis sheet thingy it said "Bipolar Affective Disorder. Current episode: Mixed" and at first I was like "this is not it, it can't be, it doesn't make sense" but after watching Kati Morton video on "5 misunderstandings about Bipolar Disorder" and after she explained a little of what a mixed episode is, it does sound like me. To be honest I kind of am trusting a bit more of my psychiatrist.. she makes sense.. a little.. they still haven't explained to me on the fully why I get psychosis and if it psychosis and if it is common and part of mania.. but we will get there.

The Skeezyks loves Kati Morton. I often recommend her here on PC...

I know that feeling. I was in a mixed state when I first saw my pdoc, but I didn't believe it. It took me some time to accept it.

The more I researched bipolar disorder, the more I felt at ease with the diagnosis.

I hope you get the explanations you're looking for... but I will say that psychosis and full-blown mania go hand in hand.
