Hello Everyone,

I'm not sure if we already have a board like this in our group or if our group wants to participate.

List if you exercised today and how long. It doesn't matter if you did it in a gym, at home, took the stairs at work or went for a walk. List whatever you did to burn calories. You can also list what healthy food you ate. Come on group let's get started.

I made a point to lead a meat-less diet for as long as I can, as I prefer going meat-less and I'm accustomed to without having meat on my dish.

Overall, it improved my post-lunch moods as I do not ever experience discomfort caused by gas released by my stomach from consuming a meat-inclusive dish. It's all thanks to having weeks of meatless meals at my work area, unlike back in school that I have limited options when following my friends around to wherever they want to eat.

I went to the gym at 7AM - light lifting and rode the stationary bike for about 8 miles. Came home and mowed the lawn. For supper, I had tilapia with carrots and peas......too much tartar sauce, however.

But no meditation today. Boo!
Thanks for this!

I took my dog to the park and ran around the huge oval twice. (well walked a bit and ran most of the way as I am trying to get back into exercise) Would've kept going but my 15 year old dog was exhausted. Really trying to get fit again. This is my third attempt at running and I seem to be building up stamina. Loving the endorphin's

Damn....if only I can do all that!! I'd kill for the 8 miles that alone regularly wld help me lose the 20-25 lbs I gain due to meds.

I have a workout regimine that I need to stick too or I get off the rails quickly. Today is my workout day but I also rode the mountain bike 5 miles after dinner last night as a bonus. Working out helps me deal with all the nervous energy and anxiety. Back in 2012, I suffered a ruptured quad tendon requiring 3 trips to the OR. I was a mess for 2 years but I've made a comeback which I'm thankful for. I do this workout even when I'm very depressed and it always makes me feel better. Dragging my butt to the gym while depressed is very difficult.

This is a great thread! Yesterday, I exercised for the first time in a while (jogged 2-3 miles despite my disdain for running, ha), and was [consequently] able to eat! I just set daily alarms for 09:00a, 1:00p, and 7:00p to remind me to eat, and I plan to stick to it!

Kudos to you. I've been in a depressed mode and the fact that you can stick to it even then is really good. So far I've only been able to make it to ard 2-1/2 miles on the treadmill and a mile on the elliptical. I just start back in the gym. Back in 2012 I could workout for 3 hours straight but it was bc I was manic. I never knew why. This right when my onset started and right before I was diagnosed. It's funny to me now why I had so much energy. LOL. I'm trying to increase my time and to be able to do things outside the gym.

I think the only reason I can do this is because it's become a routine for me. I walk into the gym like a freaking zombie, very disconnected but after 20 minutes into my cardio something wakes up inside and I begin feeling better. Lately I've been having homicidal fantasies while working out. I kinda chuckle because I realize what's going on but it can't be normal. I just feed off the energy and try to leave all the bad thoughts at the gym.

I get a workout everyday at work... Sweat through all my clothes (not making this up) on a lot of days. Saying it's hot is a vast understatement

I drank soooo much kombucha, didn't eat any gluten, and cleaned almost my entire house. So healing. The food I did eat however was kind of heavy, gotta lighten that up. Tomorrow I'm going to try and exercise a bit, meditate, eat lighter, and finish cleaning. Wish me luck!

Yesterday I worked out for an hour walking. I did go to McDonald's but I had a snack wrap with grilled chicken, soft tortilla shell, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and ranch dressing. I had no fries but did have a yogurt cup too.

I'm out of state at the moment but I'm still exercising. I don't have a rental car so I'm walking everywhere. Last night I walked twelve blocks after walking through a busy metro airport. This morning I walked roughly eight blocks then walked stairs at the Golden Arch and the courthouse. We're going to a museum shortly so that is more walking.
