I am cat sitting for the next week or so. Two outside kitty cats and their daughter, Rosey, who lives inside the house. She is a calico kitten. Rosey is WILD! I mean wild! The first day I went over I heard crazy meowing when I walked in. She had her leg caught in the window blinds string. It was barely in there so she wasn't really stuck but boy did she want help! lol She also knocked over the outside cats food bag and it.was.everywhere.

When I go over there she RUNS everywhere back and forth and JUMPS into the litter box then RUNS back to where I am. RUN! RUN! RUN! I turn the tv on for her (her owners left it on for her) and she runs and jumps on the couch to attack me. Ha! We play and she purrs but not long before shes of again! I cant find her toys..she has them lost somewhere! Before I leave, I consider turning on the radio with the cds her owner plays for her. I choose a cd and turn it on because, well, shes spoiled and needs company. *eye roll, smile*

Why are cats so fulfilling?

I understand. I just spent five days pet sitting for my daughter's two dogs, two cats and one parrot. All of which are "special". Most are on medications and special diets. She has special music for them to listen to when they are left alone. They are all spoiled, but she loves each of them.

Yea I used to do a LOT of pet/house sitting! Imagine...2 cats, 4 horses, 12 chickens, 2 dogs and hermit crabs! Lol

Just one cat I can handle for now. A lot of pets I've watched over the years required special meds and needs. You'd be surprised!

I miss having cats and kittens. We had cats for over 30 years, but had to re-home ours last fall before we moved in with my son and son-in-law, who is violently allergic to all cats. Thankfully he's not allergic to dogs, and our little Pug mix fits in really well with their Pomeranians.

I don't do well without a dog
I get very depressed, to the point of sui, but a dog needs me and this
gives me focus and life
Life without my cats and dog (45 kg German Shepard) would be so lonely

Cats are nuts lol. I am not a "cat person" but I am an animal lover and enjoy the stories.

I am now living on a horse farm. 42 horses (including my own). I couldnt survive and stay stable without my ponies. Its a hell of a lot of work and I am on my own most of the time but I can say I honestly enjoy it and I havent enjoyed much over the last few years.
Thanks for this!
