I mean all of my posts are for you. I am thinking about all of you every time I write. That sounds so cheesy but it really is true. Anyway, this one came to me and you guys are in it.
Thank you all so much for being here and for being brave and for sharing it all. I would never have gotten to the place I am with my Bipolar without you. I love you all https://bipolarfirst.wordpress.com/2...olar-disorder/ ![]() |

There's a beautiful message in that, and I would like to thank you for sharing it.
I for one find it easy to want to sit at the 'other table'. There are times that those in the medical profession, 'the waiters' don't seem to care at all. But sitting at the table in the shadows with friends, well that is so much better than sitting in the 'normal' table being judged by those around you. Whilst I could not say that I am proud of my bipolar, I have found, that it has given me a perspective on life that others do not have, has helped me prioritize my life, and has made me appreciate the small things that others take for granted. And I have those I can proudly call friends, especially on here, that I would otherwise have never met. That privilege, of having special friends and connecting with them, makes for me, my bipolar special in it's own unique way...... xXx |

I SO agree. That was beautifully said. Thanks so much.
Pride and Bipolar are interesting. I feel it but I'm not exactly sure why. But I know a large part of it is because of these people. I don't care about that fancy tables anymore either. Screw that. |
