It has been a week since I saw my psychiatrist and explained to her my constant staying in bed. She decided to increase my cymbalta dosage to 120 mg and see if that had any effect. Today I think it may have started to have an effect. I was in bed as usual, I woke up early and just layed in bed after an hour I had the urge, strong urge to get up and do something. I started my day and haven't gone back to bed all day (I was off work today).
Does anybody have any good experience with an increase in cymbalta?

Feeling a bit more alert and productive. I cleaned somewhat and went to the gym. Sleep schedule feels off.

I'm on 60 mg at the moment and it's been working really well for me, though my sleep schedule is off too (It's 3:30 am and here I am, lol)

I am tapering off Cymbalta right now. I have BP1 and Fibromyalgia. My family doctor prescribed 30 mg for depression and muscle pain. My rheumatologist upped the dose to 60mg. It helped with the pain and anxiety more than the depression and I only have one side effect - insomnia. Without a sleeping pill, I will stay awake for up to 4 days. Taking OTC sleeping aids do not help and even prescriptions fail to do much. So, tapering off is what I'm doing.
