I lost my phone so many times its more than what I can count on my fingers *facepalms*. This time, instead of it being in the house, I think I might of lost it in my friends boyfriends car and he is at work. Got no idea what time he finishes either so I am pretty much screwed. I'll have to phone tomorrow as I tried phoning so many times. I am always unaware of loosing my **** its unreal and annoying as ****. I don't know how to keep myself from loosing my belongs when I am elevated. I really do struggle. I really do try to keep in control so I wont loose or misplace things. Such as making sure I put my clothes away in the wardrobe and making sure my room is tidy. I really hate this. I really don't know why I do it whilst manic either. I really do hope this is relatable to a lot of people here.

Yes. Relate for sure. I have found doing the same routine over and over has helped immensely. Soon as I get home wallet and keys get put up etc etc. however my life is pretty predictable these days being married with children.. With all that said I do still misplace stuff fairly often and yes it is extremely aggravating!

I lose things all the time no matter what. I cleaned and organized this morning and lost my phone and found it in a really weird spot (daughter's stroller? Weird). I'm just an airhead.

My wife lost her car keys one day and had searched for hours with no success. So I told her "well, if I think like you than they are probably in the fridge." I was close she found them in the freezer.

I used to do that all the time and now when I'm out I'm always repeating to myself, "Purse, phone, keys. Purse, phone, keys." A lot of times I think I've lost something and it's right in front of me!

wibblywobbly - I have to do that too! I always have to check to make sure I have car keys, my money, my phone, etc., when I go anywhere. I've locked my keys in the car on occasion. I've always been like this. I've even left the fridge open on occasion. lol

i have a habbit of putting something down, and then forgetting where i put it.
most of the time i eventually find it in the most unlikely of places (or i mean, ) i'm thinking.. their?. really?. why would i put something their and when i don't find it after an acceptible length of time it all gets really frustrating. half of the time i don't even know i'm putting the stuff down in places that are easy to get to you know when you put something down somewhere (a much loved spot), and then it's the last place you'd think about looking. yeah.. |
