The day I warned my daughter not to let my grandchildren play in the backyard because they might get attacked by coyotes was the day I decided to do something about my anxiety. I talked to my psychiatrist about it, and he recommended that we replace the Abilify I was taking with Latuda. I have to say that the experiment has been a success. Since I started taking it, I haven't worried about coyotes carrying off my grandchildren or my keys mysteriously jumping out of my tightly clasped hands and falling into a drain or any of the other irrational fears that I used to suffer from. I even found myself parking between two large SUVs last night without fear of getting dinged. My wife was amazed.

It's completely killed my appetite. I have to make myself eat before I take it. Tonight I had a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter and two glasses of soy milk. It does not sedate me at night, but it does during the day for some reason? Like I can not sleep right now.

No. Most benzo's generic names end with "-am-s" ie, Clonazepam= Klonopin, Valium- diazepam, etc.

I use xanax as needed. It is a short-acting benzo, but I take the lowest dose possible that works.
I take it spread out through the day if I need it. |
