Saw my t today. We talked about how I feel with both him and pdoc leaving at the same time and I didn't really wanna talk about it so I was kinda vague. He asked if there was something we needed to talk about that we weren't. I basically just said I'm having a hard time. He said he'd be upset too if his therapist was leaving.
He apologized and I asked him not to cause there's no need for it. He said he feels like I've been through a lot and he's sorry I'm feeling down again. Then he surprised me. His last day is august 27th. Then I'll be transferred to one of my DBT therapists. He said he's not supposed to but he's gonna give me one of his business cards and if I want to in the future I can start seeing again. He doesn't take my current insurance but I'm being switched to Medicare in november and his new office takes that. I'm sad he's leaving but I'm also kind of already planning to go bk to him when I can. I love jenn but Matt already knows me so well and we click well.

Hallie, that is great news so you don't have to break off your therapist forever. It pays to speak up.
Should make that transition easier.
