I backed my dose of loxapine down 2 days ago because of uncontrolled oral motor movements and my pdoc is on vacation so I don't know what else to do and the movements are still here although my mouth isn't as chewed up now.
There are a few other meds that may be added to my current list to help control the EPS but I'm not sure any of them will be appropriate for me since they either affect blood pressure (mine is pretty low) or make you sleepy and I"m sleeping 12 hours/day from valium. Maybe my pdoc will have some big surprise but I have a feeling that I'm about done with this med. I am so frustrated with that. If it weren't for side effects this stuff is amazing and these are rare side effects. I am so tired of meds not doing what they should without doing what they shouldn't. 67 cocktails in 21 years. That's ridiculous. I hate my body.

That sucks. I really want you to feel better and find meds that work. Hugs. (Would do hug icon, but I'm on my phone.)

I hate the med game. Some work, some don't for many reasons. Hang in there. Praying you get a good med.
