It is possible to have a normal life. Staying on top of meds and therapy will help make that possible.
Knowing your triggers and warning signs will help to manage your condition and allow you to lead a normal life. There may be flare-ups now and again, but the majority of your life should be in the "normal" range when properly taking meds and going to therapy.

I am very low functioning when I'm depressed (which is a lot of the time) and have been unable to hold down a job for several years.
I have not managed to reach a point where I'm stable yet. I've been on medications and diagnosed for 20 years. I've had short periods during that time where things seemed normal but largely I've spent the vast amounts of time depressed with short burst of hypomania in between. It's inspiring to see that so many people are able to live a normal life and it gives me hope that maybe someday I can too. It can't come soon enough… I'm 46 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Maybe I am just bitter. Being trying to stirr the people to be less passive for some time now... and it's not working. Just been called crazy for that. Among other names. So if I am wrong, if I am crazy... so it be. I pray to never be normal in that case.
