So after a miserable weekend, I was able to get in touch with my pdoc who decided to put me on Wellbutrin. Anyone have any experience with this medication? I know it varies from person to person, but I'm just curious.

I was just put back on it last week and have felt great. In the past it has worked but it has raised my anxiety. I'm on a mix of cymbalta and Wellbutrin now so maybe it can cancel out the anxiety.

Wellbutrin made me manic and psychotic. I was pissed off at everything and everyone...it was awful. And the withdrawal was the worst, even though I was on it only for a couple of months. I'll never touch it again. But that's just me.

It's been a lifesaver for me. One of the only ADs that doesn't make me manic. If I miss it I know it.

They reduced the amount when I was manic... but the day after they reduced the amount I was crying at everything, but then the day after that I was more level again.

Use it with other medications. No problems. What you need to understand is no single medication, or combinations, will effect everyone the same way. Also different people take different amounts. For these reasons I consider the answers to be to many to gauge by. Some like me do very well, and others can't take it.
