I
So I'm constantly cleaning and just making the house looks nice. Now I've basically abandoned it. My husband works so much he can't help and my roomate doesn't help at all. She MAY wash one of her dishes but nothing else.nwith my 2 year old its just too much. My eating disorder is out of control again and thats zapping a lot of my energy. Been dealing with some weird things maybe delusions. Basically just staying in my room with my son all day until my roommate leaves. |

That sounds horrible Rosegirl! Do you need this roommate to make ends meet or could you do without? It's crappy that you feel you have to hide out in your own house. I've felt like that before when people have stayed with us during one of my depressions, and it sucks. It would be even worse having to keep a two year old confined with you.
As for the housework... Can you go into survival mode and prioritize? Determine the absolute minimum amount for the duration of your depression? Keeping counters clean so you make prepare food might be a priority, but dusting could probably wait... Figure out the things you can let go of for now. I hope things get better for you soon... We do really need her unfortunately. At minimum I need to do the dishes, wipe off counters, sweep, vacuum and pick up toys/trash. I havent even left the room today except to get my son food :/ theyre still asleep (she had a giy over) because they went to sleep at like 7am. Im so annoyed

What about a different room mate... One that goes to school all day and does homework all night? Someone serious about studying and who has a heavy course load?
