I just took headache medicine AGAIN. I get migraines and if I get too many headaches and take medicine too often I get medicine rebound and have to endure the headaches until it's all out of my system. I have been headache free for months until a week into the trileptal. I am pretty sure it's the medicine.

Upon just looking up the side effects it said call the doctor if having shortness of breath and wheezing. I have been having increased difficulty with that. Need to use my nebulizer but too lazy. I thought it was the heat and humidity down here, except I didn't have a problem with it last month and I am also getting the wheezing when I have been staying inside. I use symbacort which usually keeps my breathing under control.

Am now at a point in mood stabilizers that my pdoc said if this doesn't work we are going to have to start retrying meds.

I am going to start keeping track of meds and my side effects in my computer, although my medical records are all computerized anyway.

Will be calling my pdoc in the morning.

I'm sorry you're having a problem with the Trileptal. I've been on it for about six years without a problem, but as we all know not everything works the same for everyone. I hope you feel better!!

Am off of it now. No replacement mood stabilizer until I see pdoc in a few weeks unless I get into trouble. Still have to call pdoc at end of week to update also as a check how I am doing off of it.
