I am hypomanic, restless, waking up at 1am super charged. I start college tomorrow and I feel this may actually be perfect timing. I can't believe it turned out this way. I hope it doesn't end. I am social (I am usually antisocial), getting along with family, planning ahead in life, setting goals and dreaming big. I am not out of control though. If this gets me through my first week of college, it will be a godsend. I was so nervous about starting school, but not anymore. I am currently dreaming about transferring to a college in New York City this spring. I had been so drained of energy for so so long and now I have plenty of energy to spare. I am bipolar 2 so this won't turn into full blown mania. I am excited to see what this week brings.

I totally get what you're going through. The same thing happend to me back in January. I am manic lately and I guess, in a way, it helps with some of the creative ideas i use in my classes and on my papers. Try to rest now and hopefully the good parts of being manic are leverage for you.
If you need to talk just message me!

Welcome to college, my friend.
