Is a coincidence that my body feels somewhat physically ill, or can this be from coming off the Lamotrigine.

My body is achy, I feel under the weather, I was dizzy and disoriented when I was driving today, had a hard time doing my barn chores and was more exhausted than normal, and in general I feel like garbage.

My concentration is not good either. I tried to respond to another thread and just couldn't gather my thoughts and deleted it. I couldn't hold a thought without it flitting away.

I also feel a sense of devastation and like I might burst into tears. This is my third night with no Lamotrigine. Last night my husband said I was thrashing all over the place and I woke up feeling sick.

Going from 50-0 seems much harder than it was going from 100-50...

On the bright side, I get zapped on Friday.
Hugs from:

I am very sensitive and the lamictal gave me all kinds of "issues" , went back up and am going to stay there , good luck , it will have to pass sometime , then again it maybe something else , it took a couple of weeks before I had problems but on a higher dose ... take care of yourself ..

I think you should feel better in a couple days. Hugs.

If it's the lamotrigine you should feel better in a few days. If not it may be something else and you might want to get it checked out. I'd guess it's the lamotrigine though. Coming off a med always seems to have a downside even if they say it doesn't.

Thank you all... I slept like the dead for over 12 hours last night, and then felt better, although still a little spacey and not quite right concentration wise. I was able to function though...
