I just moved to Phoenix with my boyfriend and I am completely exhausted. All day long while he's at work I lay around with our dog and do nothing. We took a vacation to San Diego and the whole time we were there, I couldn't feel pleasure or excitement about anything. I've been going through the motions and he says he doesn't notice anything different about me, but I definately notice something different. Meditation helps some. Weed kind of helps. But I want to contribute to the relationship and get a job but I'm very unmotivated and unexcited about life. We took a hike this morning up a mountain, and I barely felt anything. Is it the meds making me like this or he depression?

Could be either. You're on a high dose of risperdal and high doses of many APs can have a dulling, numbing effect. But when I feel like that it is depression for me. Have you ever felt well on your current doses of medicine? If you have it's probably depression, but if you have not it COULD be the meds. Unfortunately the only way to tell is do go off or come down on the meds. Which I wouldn't recommended without a pdoc. You did just move, and you probably don't know anyone in your area, that could contribute to depression.
I would be leaning toward depression for you. Especially because you were unwell before the move.

Weren't you on the manic side prior to the move? It sounds like you are in a downswing and need your meds adjusted. Also, moving in with a boyfriend in a totally different state is stressful. Did you find a pdoc yet? I would make that priority one.

Lack of emotions I usually contribute to depression when I'm not feeling any emotions. I have had medication do it but I can usually tell when it's meds because there is a specific starting point. When I'm depressed though it's a deeper feeling of no joy or other feelings.

Could it be that you are exhausted from moving etc? Sounds like you are depressed, and exhaustion can sometimes bring on depression. With BP, we are a bit more sensitive to stress, keep in mind. I find that with depression comes fatigue and feeling like nothing gives me any pleasure etc.
