SO my pdoc is a flake. She doesn't remember what we're doing with my meds or what has been going on with me even though I see her weekly. I'm ready to break up. The problem is that my Therapist (who I LOVE) is in the same office. I know it's a "business decision," but I'm too self conscious to go to the same office when I will run into my pdoc on a regular basis.
HELP!

Honestly, don't worry about it. As you get older you will realize that you are not going to make everyone happy. You don't owe her an explanation. You are there for your benefit not her's. If she's not working out then you need to move on. Just my opinion!

Before you switch, have you spoken to your pdoc about this?

You have to do what is best for you.

Before I changed psychiatrist, I just stopped going to the last one. Don't know how well it would go to just going to see the one you want to see in same building. Why not just call her/him and run it though her/him. I'm sure it's been done before.
