I've never labeled any of manic episodes...but the past week I've been like running on a battery. I've maybe slept 4-6 hours in 7 days. Just not sleepy and ready to get things done !! Since I take my medicine at night before bed I've not taken my medication, other than ADD med, for 3 days. Over the past two hours I started having massive anxiety (I've had none for a week!) And so took my dose of 1mg Klonopin like I'm supposed to take twice daily. Maybe it's kicking in and bringing me down to reality? Can Klonopin help in stopping a manic episode ? Maybe I shouldn't have taken it and tried fighting the Anxiety than take a med for it..

Is this mania ? I'm confused.

Clonazepam didn't help me with that, but everyone is different.

You left a post an hr ago that you're off your meds and you feel great. I'm confused.

Oh, wanted to add, I wouldn't stop taking clonazepam cold turkey. It sucks and is horrible when you taper off of it. I know. I had four horrible months (only three of which I was tapering!). I'm finally starting to feel better.

Thanks guys. After finally taking my Klonopin and it seemed to finally calm me down I've realized I suppose this would have been a manic/hypomanic episode over the past 5-6 days. I'm going to begin taking my medicine as I should and even take my Trazadone if I'm "wired" or "not tired" when I should get to sleep to get the healthy 6-8 hours a night. Sorry for any confusion or ramblings.

I'm no Dr, but that sounds like mania to me. Back when I was on klonopin it had me pretty laid back. I can't really remember if it buzz-killed my mania or not though.

And the only meds you were taking were for ADD (stimulants)... That'll do it to you.
