The procedure isn't even that dangerous, but I'm freaking out about it. A doctor runs a catheter up a vessel in my leg into my heart and burns tissue away from inside the atria. I'm irritable, tying up loose ends and settling old scores. Welcome back... I haven't felt like this in 30 months.
Hypomanic triggered by upcoming cardiac procedure

Having had a couple of surgeries myself, I can relate to what you're experiencing, Lefty. None of the surgeries I've had were life-threatening either. But it's still difficult not to get a bit worked up about the whole thing. So I send warm wishes your way with the hope that you will soon have this procedure in the rear-view mirror, as the saying goes.
