I'm really tempted to do this so I've haven't been sleeping properly, consumed more caffeine than what I usually do, and skipped some meds.

Or maybe I'm already getting into an episode because I haven't been diligent enough to remember to take my meds, and I also got sick.

Tempted because of school and I saw one of my grades, which isn't too low but I looked at the assignments that I have to do in all my classes.

I need to get a lot of things done ahead of time because that's the responsible thing to do. I need to make up for the time I was being lazy and over dramatic. I know people who have to work multiple jobs and they have clubs and they still get their work done. And people stay up late at night to study and finish projects so I figured that sleep holds me back and if I cut down on it I can get ahead.

I have plans for this, but I couldn't be productive because of technical difficulties.

There's more and I can't word the disjointed thoughts but I feel like I'm terrible because I'm struggling in class and I just think it's because I'm lazy and weak willed.

That's tempting, but not safe. You may spiral out to severe mania and it's not something that will foster concentration or allow to finish projects. Mania will just tell you that you have to start something new, and again, and again. Are your meds adjusted, can you reach for help?

No! Don't do it! Please, don't jeopardize your health for anything! It's not worth it. There are solutions to your problem. Can you get a tutor at your school? Do you feel comfortable with getting a study buddy? Do you have a planner? How many hours do you have to study in a day?

I understand that you're wanting to do well in school but if you aren't well, how can you succeed?

I'm not even productive in that state but I feel productive and I just keep doing as much as I can.

I don't really need a tutor as I understand the concept, and usually the office hours for most of my classes are inaccessible to me because I work.

I have a planner but often forget to look at it.

I just feel like I have to make up for being sick and push myself to the limit because that's the appropriate thing to do.

Where does mania usually leave you?

Well I will admit that I enjoy being in a hypomanic state. It's really the only times in my life I can recall feeling fulfilled and happy

I understand this. Hypomania has given me such productive, positive bursts. I just wish it wasn't temporary.
