funny thing is I have been down with a painful sinus infection ... that's not the funny thing ... been very painful and very disruptive to my already poor sleep ... funny thing is my gp gave me a codine cough syrup .... now this is really funny , I have had better, longer and more restful sleep on the codine than anything my pdoc has ever given me ... of course I know it will be short lived ... enjoying it as long as I can .... skipping it during the day to save it for night time ....

The longer my journey in psychiatry land goes, the more I become convinced that if something sort of works and gives you terrible side effects, you really need it and better take it, but if something makes you feel great without causing you any problems, then you can't have it or else that would make you a junky. Can't have people actually feeling good and not having problems. They might get addicted to it and want to feel okay all the time.
Thanks for this!

I'm glad you are sleeping. I haven't seen you around these parts for a bit. Missed you!

Codeine doesn't do a thing for me except make me irritable.

Glad to hear that you got some sleep, though.
