I think when you are in a state of mania, sex can become more risky and youre more likely to act out on fantasies you may have but I dont think having bipolar creates strange desires, I think your desires are just that. Your desires. I would just monitor them when manic.

Yah. I acted out on a fantasy I had for years and now feel strange about it. Even while engaging in it, it was surreal. Like I was not there doing it. Scares me.

Same here about manic driven sex. We've also have both genders of sexual alters here, so it gets good and interesting at times. Like there's any real control!

I've also found that hyper sexuality surges....but am not sure if that's just me?

Yah it was a surge. An opportunity arose right in front of me in a private setting and I just went with it. I will be hones it was quiet exciting. I felt ashamed after but now within a day I am thinking about making a call and doing it again.

Hey EJ, I messaged you but I'm not too interested in details, just like I said, we are ruled by instincts run amuck and at a point just lose control over ourselves thanks to bipolar. We never asked for it, but we were made to be this way, so beating yourself up over something that you can't control is harsh on yourself. I just say well o well o and move on. I hope you can to.
