Aside from some lingering mild irritability I'm back to feel well!!! Is rexulti my miracle drug???? I even went out to a friends and had dinner with them last night and laughed and had fun! No more hiding from the world or crying or angry thoughts. I didn't even crash hard-just s few days of depression and desperate isolation.

Awesome girlfriend! Sorry that I missed it, but what's your miracle drug? I'm so happy that it's working for you.

Only time will tell if it's the med. I've sat on uneasy street for awhile anticipating failure that never happened proving the meds kicked in. I hope it does for you too, it's so much easier this way.
Thanks for this!

My psychiatrist said this might be something we should try. I am really worried about the possibility of weight gain though. I had an eating disorder in the past and am very conscious of my weight. I was on abilify before and gained some weight from that. I feel really dumb using that as a reason not to try it...
Have you had any negative side effects?

My psychiatrist (who is also a pharmacist and really into how meds work) says that it is related to abilify but actually pretty different. Instead of just improving abilify they decided what they wanted a drug to do that abilify doesn't and they made a drug that did that. She seems pretty positive about it. Wish I could try it.

I can relate to this. Weight gain was adding a great deal to my Depression and Anxiety but my Doctor's sisn't want to change my medications because for the first time I was relatively stable...

Talk to your doctor about METFORMIN.

Metformin is a diabetic drug but some psychiatrists and doctors are beginning to use it off label as a way of counteracting weight gain due to other medications.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for the info. Is it supposed to cause weight loss or a decrease in appetite? I am on vyvanse for chronic fatigue so that may work similarly in its effect on appetite.
